The GME AE312V VHF Ground Dependent Antenna
belongs to the AE312 Professional Marine Antenna Range. It is 450mm
in length and features a “ground-dependent” design. It utilises
stainless steel components to ensure long life and high performance
in the marine environment. Being “ground-dependent”, the antenna
base needs to be in contact with a metallic surface (ground plane),
such as steel or aluminium or approximately 0.5 square meters in
surface area or greater.

Note: Fishfinders and other electrical devices can
radiate varying levels of ‘noise’ during operation. To maximise the
clarity of your transceiver signal avoid routing the antenna cable
adjacent to transducer cables and other sources of possible
interference.
